Los
Angeles Housing for Traveling Nurses, First Responders and
Essential Workers
As the Covid-19 Pandemic continues to disrupt our lives and
nursing shortages continue to hamper our efforts to contain and
control the virus, the role of traveling nurses, first
responders and essential workers is more important than ever.
With assignments typically lasting 13 weeks, traveling nurses
can struggle finding ideal accommodations. Traditional
apartment rentals want a year’s lease; vacation rentals are
desirous of 30 day or less leases to maximize their profits; and
hotels too pricey and likely to not have a kitchen.
Not all apartments are the same. In fact, they vary greatly
in terms of price, furnishings, and most of all - in Los Angeles -
locations that are convenient to your needs.
The ideal housing rental for a traveling nurse should include
all of the following:
1. Be fully furnished and move-in ready.
StayTony provides luxurious, fully furnished accommodations (large
studios and one bedroom apartments ranging in size from 450 sq.
ft. to 875 sq. ft.) They are move-in ready with fully
equipped kitchens and bathrooms and are fully furnished from the
designer furniture down to the wine glasses, flat screen TV, and
wireless internet. They feature hardwood floors,
marble countertops, recessed lighting, complementary parking, all
utilities included, high speed WiFi and a complete cable package
so you can unwind after a long day of work.
2. Be convenient to the hospital or health care
facility in which they will be working.
StayTony locations are in close proximity to most Los Angeles
hospitals and health care facilities (25 are within five miles of
StayTony locations, 16 are within ten miles and six are within 15
miles.)
If you are contracted to work at Barlow Respiratory Hospital,
Brotman Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai, Children’s Hospital, Dignity
Health California Hospital, Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center,
Kaiser Permanente, Keck Medicine of USC, Los Angeles Community
Hospital Los Angeles Medical Center, Los Angeles Surge Hospital,
Olympia Medical Center, Parkview Community Hospital, PIH Health
Good Samaritan Hospital, Serrano Convalescent Hospital, Silverlake
Medical Center, Southern California Hospital, St. Anthony Medical
Centers, Sunset Hollywood Medical, UCLA Medical Center, West Los
Angeles VA Medical Center or any of the other hospitals and health
care facilities in Los Angeles you will find StayTony locations
ideally located.
The last thing you want to do before starting or ending a 12 hour
shift is to spend hours commuting, especially in Los Angeles
traffic. StayTony locations ensure you spend less time in
traffic so you can relax and enjoy your time away from work to its
maximum.
3. Have WIFI and Smart TV access.
StayTony accommodations for the traveling nurse feature high-speed
internet, smart TVs and complete cable packages so that you are
always connected. All utilities are included in the rent.
4. Be reasonably priced.
StayTony fully-furnished, short-term locations always provide
great value. For traveling nurses, StayTony provides an
additional discount in recognition of your role in helping us
through the pandemic. 5. Be clean and safe.
StayTony has always been a “neat freak.” This is truer today
than ever before. All apartments undergo a 57 point cleaning
and sterilization protocol for each new tenant. We offer
maid and cleaning services as well.
StayTony locations are located on the best streets in the best
neighborhoods. They are in secluded, tranquil areas ensuring
you privacy and soothing ambience regardless of your work
schedule, yet they are no more than two-blocks convenient to
stores, restaurants and other necessities of life.
6. Be pet friendly.
Over 25% of traveling nurses bring their pets with them and
StayTony has always been pet friendly.
7. The extras.
StayTony has always prided itself on going the extra mile for our
customers. We think customer service is more essential now
than ever before and are always willing to go the extra mile for
any special requests for services or amenities that are in our
power to grant.

Reviews
I am thrilled to have found this amazing apartment in
Hollywood. It is very stylish, elegant, comfortable and
spacious. As a traveling nurse, I have spent extended time in
many apartments across the U.S. StayTony is a cut
above. When I moved in, everything was in perfect
condition. I really felt at home because everything I needed was
right there; from towels to bed linen to TV with premium cable
packages to super-quick Wi-Fi, not to mention silverware,
tableware and a coffee maker! Evelyn.
This was by far the best property I’ve ever had the pleasure of
living in, and Tony was the nicest, most professional and
accommodating host who made sure everything was perfect. The
location was super convenient to Kaiser Permanente--many days I
walked to and from work! Sad to have to leave this
gorgeous property in Los Angeles. Jim B.
